Helping others has always been an advocacy for the Novak Family, but that all changed when Karhma and her husband saw how a one mom and her daughter needed more than just donations. They knew then that God was calling them for a higher purpose.
Karhma Novak is a wife, a mother, and a teacher. She's also the executive director of the I-58 Mission, a nonprofit organization that is designed to Exalt Christ and make Him known by caring for those in crisis.
In this episode, Karhma shares with us how God called her, her family and others to a mission of helping others. Based on the verse Isaiah 58, they have heed God’s call and are accomplishing what God has called them to do - to cloth the naked, feed the hungry, and provide shelter for those in need. From a name on an Angel Tree, they have now grown to help up to 40 families a week.
